Mr Max Vlahakis, COO of Cadmus Family of Schools, has been an qualified Ofsted inspector for 10 years. He uses his Ofsted expertise to  support schools by developing the quality of education on offer and supporting the leadership team. He is able to provide effective support to develop the quality of teaching through staff training, moderation and the opportunity for leaders to learn from the best practise in other Cadmus schools. Max is also an NLE who provides school improvement to a number of schools across the country. He has access to wider network of NLE’s, teaching schools and other individuals and schools offering schools-to-school support. He demonstrates outstanding leadership skills and has a track record of providing support to schools who need it most.

Mrs Michelle Sheehy, is also an NLE. Michelle is a National Executive member for the NAHT, she supports with overseeing policy direction for the NAHT for the West Midlands. Michelle is an Executive Headteacher across two Walsall schools, she is the strategic lead for the two schools and works closely with the Cadmus leadership team and Governing body.

Mrs Angela Hill, is also Executive Head of  two Walsall schools. Her role includes closely supporting one of her schools with their recent school improvement journey. She has gained NPQEL status (National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership) from Wolverhampton University. This recognises her contribution towards overseeing more than one school with different priorities and challenges.

Mr James Pearce, is an experienced Headteacher of a large 2 form entry Walsall school. The school’s mission statement is ‘Working together’ and their motto is ‘What have you done today to make you feel proud?’. Chuckery is a school where learning is exciting and challenging and where pupils are proud of who they are and what they are achieving. James is currently studying for NPQEL with Wolverhampton University.

Roland Roberts, is the Chair of Cadmus Governors. He was previously a National Leader of Governance, he is a highly experienced leader who provides knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to schools Governing Bodies. He has many years of governing experience and is able to provide vital strategic direction for Cadmus leadership and Governing Body.

In addition we have a number of SLEs who work across the Cadmus schools, these teachers are able to support not only Cadmus schools but a wider network of schools across Walsall and beyond. School Business Managers work together as a team to enable them to provide effective support for their schools, as do SENCOs and Literacy and Maths leads. This effective collaboration ensures all schools are kept up to date with changes, new practises and can share ideas with each other.
